One day after announcing the results of the UFL Quarterback selection process and the results of the Regional College Allocation player selection process, the UFL released the list of players each team would keep from the 2025 rosters. The Orlando Storm was assigned the 2025 roster of the San Antonio Brahmas, and the Storm chose to keep only six Brahmas players, rather than the limit of 12. The recent roster-building moves set the stage for the UFL Draft. In the UFL, teams can pick from various pools of past UFL players and free agents to build a 64-man training camp roster.

As for the six players that the Orlando Storm and head coach Anthony Becht chose to keep from the Brahmas roster, they were released by UFL Insider James Larsen through his X account.

So far, Becht has focused on solid players at critical positions in an alternative football league like the UFL. Offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and linebackers are highly sought after by UFL teams. The Storm still has a long way to go to build the rest of their 64-man roster for training camp, but the players that Becht has chosen to add for 2026 should give Orlando a good foundation.

The Storm’s Offensive Haul from the Brahmas

Running back Jashaun Corbin played in 10 games for the San Antonio Brahmas last season. While playing for the Brahmas, Corbin ran the ball 97 times for 514 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns, and he caught 18 passes for 138 receiving yards. Corbin has played for the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, and he finished his college football career at Florida State University.

Tight end Steven Stilianos played in 9 games for the San Antonio Brahmas during the 2025 season. While playing for the Brahmas, Stilianos caught 15 passes for 86 yards and 1 touchdown. Previously, Stilianos has spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions in the NFL. Stilianos finished his college football career playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Offensive tackle Zuri Henry played in 8 games for the San Antonio Brahmas during the 2025 season. With a 6’6″, 310-pound build, Henry has the prototypical size for an NFL-quality offensive lineman. Previously, Henry played for the New England Patriots and played college football at UTEP in El Paso, Texas.

The Storm’s Defensive Haul from the Brahmas

Defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs played in 4 games for the Brahmas during the 2025 season and recorded 4 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 2.0 quarterback sacks. Previously, Buggs has spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions in the NFL. In addition, Buggs spent two seasons with the University of Alabama to finish his college football playing career.

Defensive tackle Jacob Sykes played in 17 games for the Brahmas during the 2024 and 2025 UFL seasons, and while playing for the Brahmas, Sykes registered 12 solo tackles, 20 assists, and 2.5 quarterback sacks. Previously, Sykes played for the Houston Roughnecks in the XFL in 2023, and he has also spent time with the Detroit Lions in the NFL. For the majority of his college football career, Sykes played at Harvard, but he finished at UCLA.

Linebacker Tavante Beckett has been an outstanding defensive player in the XFL and the UFL over the last three seasons. Beckett spent the last two seasons with the Brahmas, where he played in 20 regular-season games and recorded 95 solo tackles, 68 assists, and 2.5 quarterback sacks. In 2023, Beckett played for the Houston Roughnecks in the XFL and recorded 34 solo tackles, 29 assists, and 0.5 sacks across 10 regular-season games. Previously, Beckett spent time with the Detroit Lions in the NFL, and he started his college career at Virginia Tech and finished it at Marshall University.
