
After the Battlehawks solidified their first 16 players, Ricky Proehl and his staff added 14 players to their roster. Proehl added four 2025 members of the Battlehawks while, adding 10 new faces to the roster.
Offensive Line :
Mike Panasiuk: “Mike P” joins the Battlehawks for his 4th season with the team. Panasiuk has been named to three All-League teams, earning contracts with the Saints, and Colts within that timeframe.
Spencer Rolland: Rolland was drafted by Arlington in 2024, joining the team after spending time with the Vikings and Packers. He signed with the Renegades in 2025 late in the season and would earn several workouts during the 2025 NFL season.
Front Seven:
Carlos Davis: Davis comes over from the Birmingham Stallions after two seasons with the team. He earned All-UFL honors in 2024, earning a contract with the Bengals in 2024. He is also a native of Missouri playing high school football at Blue Springs in the Kansas City area.
Jordan Williams: Williams is an elite Linebacker, whose been with the San Antonio Brahmas since 2023 earning All-XFL honors in 2023. He’s totaled 233 tackles over three regular seasons and provides a stabilizing force with Willie Harvey no longer with the team.
Mike Rose: Rose returns for his 4th UFL season in St. Louis. The Iowa State alum has earned PFF’s highest grades at Linebacker when healthy. He’s totaled 129 tackles over 25 regular season games, earning two contracts with the Dolphins and Saints.
Taylor Stallworth: Stallworth joined the Michigan Panthers in April of 2025 serving as a rotational interior defensive lineman. He’s appeared in 58 regular season NFL games, most recently with the Washington Commanders
Steve Linton: Linton was a late 2025 UDFA joining the Stallions after the 2025 NFL draft. He appeared in one regular season game for the team totaling 3 tackles. He played his college ball at Syracuse, Texas Tech, and Baylor from 2019 to 2024.
Offensive Skill Positions:
Gary Jennings: Jennings reunites with Proehl who was his receivers coach in 2023. Jennings returns for his 4th season in spring football, spending three seasons with the Battlehawks and one with the Stallions.
Blake Jackson: Jackson returns for his 5th spring football season, after seeing his role expand more in 2025 with the Battlehawks. Jackson totaled over 550 all-purpose yards in 2025, while also being utilized as a passer as well.
Justin Smith: Smith goes into year four of spring football, after spending time with the Roughnecks, and Brahmas. He’s totaled over 600 receiving yards in his career providing St. Louis with depth at the back end of the roster.
Secondary:
Daniel Isom: The son of the former police chief of St. Louis, Isom joins his hometown Battlehawks for the 2026 season. A veteran of two seasons with the Stallions, Isom brings value as a day one impact player at the position who will draw a local presence for the community.
Kameron Kelly: A spring football veteran with ties to the CFL and NFL, Kelly comes off a 2025 with St. Louis that saw him thrive in 10 games (10 starts) for St. Louis this past season.
Jordan Mosley: Coming out of Maryland in 2022, Mosley goes into season four in spring football now with the Battlehawks. He’s spent the past three seasons with Houston Roughnecks and San Antonio Brahmas totaling over 170 tackles over the past several years.
Sean Fresch: Fresch was a late signing by the Brahmas in 2025, starting two games for San Antonio over the back half of the season. A 2025 UDFA Fresch could be primed for an NFL opportunity if he succeeds in 2026.
Final Thoughts:
The Battlehawks roster currently sits at 30 players as the UFL heads into day two of the draft. The team appears to be dipping into “free agency”, looking to select more depth at offensive line, running back, tight end, and defensive line.
The Battlehawks and the rest of the UFL will begin its next phase of the UFL draft set to take place January 14th at UFL Headquarters in Arlington, Texas.
The second day of the UFL Draft will follow the same round format as day one and focus on players who are not under contract with another football league.
UFL teams must select a minimum of 60 players and a maximum of 62 players in the Draft, including three quarterbacks, regional allocations, and Reserve List players. Teams may sign additional free agents following the Draft; the training camp roster limit is 64 players.
