
The Battlehawks are continuing to revamp their roster post-UFL draft with the signing of three players who are joining former Brahmas draft pick Sincere Haynesworth. The Battlehawks decided to add a familiar face back to their roster, while bringing in two unknowns. The move comes after St. Louis saw two offensive lineman sign NFL futures deals while, also releasing four players, late last week.
Signings:
Tight End James Bostic III
Bostic returns to St. Louis after being drafted by the team in 2023 during the XFL’s rookie draft. Bostic was in camp with St. Louis, being released prior to the season.
Defensive End Chris Hardie
Hardie started his career at Jacksonville State, appearing in 48 games totaling 162 tackles, 47 TFLs, 22 sacks, along with multiple post-season honors. He transferred to Ole Miss in 2024, as a rotational pass rusher totaling 6 tackles, and 1.5 sacks across 8 games. Hardie was a 2025 UDFA, and this is his first professional football opportunity.
Offensive Lineman, Tyler Nebelung
Nebelung is a 2026 eligible player coming from the division two school Southwest Minnesota State University. Nebelung has earned all-conference honors his senior season starting 44 games in his college career. It is worth noting that Nebelung participated in the NSC Combine where Battlehawks Offensive Line Coach Todd Washington was coaching at.
The Battlehawks roster sits at 58 players going into the last week of January. UFL training camp is scheduled to begin February 23rd, with teams allowed to sign 64 players to their preseason roster. The Battlehawks first game of the season is March 28th at the “Dome” vs the D.C. Defenders.
