It’s been a quiet offseason for the 2025 Battlehawks and like many UFL teams, St. Lois is sitting back before making a splash. While the team has so far released Max Duggan, GM Dave Boller, and Head Coach Anthony Becht made their first transactions of the 2025 season with four players signing their LOI’s for 2026.
Kevon Latulas Running Back
Latulas is going into year three with the team after being drafted in 2023 via the XFL rookie draft. The Missouri State alum appeared in two games in 2024, before having a more expanded role in 2025. Latulas rushed for 137 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown over four games while also recording 3 tackles on special teams. With Jacob Saylors on the Lions practice squad, and the future of Jarveon Howard’s injury after his stint in Buffalo, Latulas could push for more carriers in 2026.
Jerome Kapp Wide Receiver
Kapp returns for his 3rd season in St. Louis, hoping to expand his role at Wide Receiver. Kapp has been a special teams stalwart for St. Louis however, has dealt with a few nagging injuries for the past two seasons. Kapp is still looking for his first reception as a professional, going catch less in 17 games.

Bradley Ashmore Offensive Linemen
Ashmore returns for his 2nd season with the Battlehawks, after appearing in 9 games (2 starts), Ashmore could possibly push for a starting role in 2026 with Jaryd Jones-Smith, and Juwann Bushell-Beatty both getting older. Ashmore was a 2024 UFL draft pick by the Battlehawks last year.
Shaka Toney Defensive Linemen
Toney was a late signing by the Battlehawks during the playoffs in 2025. Toney holds plenty of NFL experience and could push to join the rotation of Travis Feeney, Pita Taumoepenu and Carson Wells in 2026.
With the NFL preseason complete, along with active rosters, and practice squads all but finalized many UFL teams should begin the process of filling out their rosters for the upcoming 2026 season. While a UFL draft is imminent, the league hasn’t officially announced the next phase of the offseason especially with relocation on the forefront.
