While the UFL offseason has been a bit quiet, the Battlehawks are making their presence known this Friday. 3rd year Battlehawk Tight End Jake Sutherland, and 2nd year Battlehawk Kameron Kelly will be in St. Louis for National Diaper Need Awareness Week.
Kam Kelly and Jake Sutherland are teaming up with St. Louis Area Diaper Bank to help “Fill the Warehouse” with 200,000 diapers this Friday, September 19th. Kelly and Sutherland hope to reach their 200,000 diaper goal by going head-to-head to see which player can raise the most funds or diaper donations to the St. Louis Area Diaper bank which helps 2500 babies and children each month.
A natural advocate for the UFL and the Battlehawks, Sutherland has made an impact in St. Louis since joining the team in 2023. He’s hosted the “STL Pros” youth football camp, where Sutherland, Travis Feeney, Kevon Latulas, and other members of the team have come to St. Louis to make an impact on the youth in the local area.
Those in the area looking to donate can do so via the players social media pages, or drop off a donation at the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank Warehouse, 6141 Etzel Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63133 this Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. CT. Kelly and Sutherland will be on site between 3 p.m and 5:30 p.m. to help stock the shelves and greet those stopping by with donations.
