Another spring football player has found his way on an active roster as the NFL makes his way into its eleventh week of play. Former Michigan Panthers Wide Receiver Kaden Davis is now being signed to the active roster. Davis has been with the Browns since last season when he signed with the team on December 10th.

Davis was a UDFA in 2022 spending several months with the Denver Broncos his rookie year. He joined the USFL’s Michigan Panthers on May 9th, 2023 appearing in five games with the team totaling 83 receiving yards, 333 return yards, and two touchdowns. He’d earn a contracts with the Cardinals, Lions, Broncos, before finally making his NFL debut late last season recording three kick returns for 107 yards.

Davis now has an opportunity to “stick” with Cleveland who at this point is reevaluating their roster for 2026. Davis is one of 23 players with spring football ties on active rosters across the NFL.

Former Michigan Panthers Long Snapper Peter Bowden was released from the Chargers practice squad. He was signed as a replacement for Josh Harris who was dealing with an injury but participated in the Chargers week 10 contest. Former Houston Roughnecks Wide Receiver Michael Bandy was waived from the Broncos 53-man roster, he was brought back on the practice squad a day later. Former San Antonio Brahmas Defensive Lineman Garrett Nelson was brought back to the Broncos practice squad.

San Antonio Brahmas Defensive Lineman Isaiah Buggs suspension has been lifted from the NFL. He is able to sign with an NFL team.

Tanner Mordecai (2024 D.C. Defenders Draft Pick) worked out for the Atlanta Falcons along with newly signed Birmingham Stallions Wide Receiver Julian Hicks. San Antonio Brahmas Tight End Thomas Gordon worked out for the Detroit Lions on Tuesday and was not signed. Former San Antonio Brahmas Kicker John Parker Romo worked out from the Las Vegas Raiders, after his release from the Falcons. Houston Gamblers (2022) Safety Micah Abernathy worked out for the New York Giants on Tuesday.
