While coaching staffs have been kept quiet two hires have been leaked as Head Coaches continue to build their staff. After Stallions Head Coach A.J. McCarron leaked that Tyler Siskey will be his offensive coordinator two other discoveries were made/announced recently.
Per Greg Parks of UFL News Hub, Todd Washington will be the offensive line coach of the St. Louis Battlehawks replacing Marc Colombo, who has yet to confirm his status for the 2026 season. Additionally, the D.C. Defenders will be hiring Jerod Kruse as special teams coordinator and linebackers coach.
Kruse spent 2025 with Tennessee State after serving in an advisory role for the Cleveland Browns. In addition to his ties with Shannon Harris at Tennessee State, Kruse has also worked with former Defenders Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams through multiple stints in the NFL.
As the UFL prepares for its 3rd season, the league has yet to release their staffs for all 8 franchises. The league is scheduled to release the first bit of information with quarterbacks being allocated on January 12th.
