With the 2025 NFL regular season over, the final members of the 2022 USFL class have completed their 4th season in the NFL. 57 members of the 2022 USFL class earned NFL contracts which originally saw over 20 players earn opportunities on practice squads and NFL rosters. As the 2025 season comes to an end the 2022 USFL class saw five players earn NFL paychecks with 4 still remaining on the roster at season’s end.
Domenique Davis Defensive Lineman Free Agent- Houston Gamblers
Davis has limped through the last couple of years after a strong start to his NFL career in 2022. Originally a UDFA to the Jets in 2020, Davis found his way with the Bengals spending parts of three seasons with the team, until latching on with the Steelers in 2024 and 2025. An injury ended his 2025 season prematurely where he $226k this season on IR, until being released. His NFL career seems in doubt as he has yet to sign a futures deal along with having limited NFL interest via workouts.
Career Earnings Since 2022: $1.09 Million
Jeremiah Pharms Defensive Lineman New England Patriots- Pittsburgh Maulers
Pharms is one of the USFL’s best stories from the 2022 season that often gets overshadowed by KaVontae Turpin. Originally a Linebacker from the NAIA institution Friends University. Pharms leveraged an indoor opportunity to the USFL, which earned him a spot with the Patriots for the past four seasons. Pharms was expected to take a larger role in 2025, however the signing of Milton Williams regulated him to the practice squad. Pharms appeared in three games for New England this year earning over 700k plus his playoff income. He’ll be a free agent at the end of the year.
Career Earnings Since 2022: $2.3 Million
Mitch Fraboni Long Snapper Denver Broncos- Pittsburgh Maulers
Fraboni was a late season signing by the Broncos who has been on the verge of being a pro bowl long snapper in the NFL. Fraboni has been a consistent figure for Denver since 2022, earning an extension prior to the 2025 season till 2027 earning $1.7 Million in 2025.
Career Earnings Since 2022: $3.9 Million
Maurice Alexander Wide Receiver Chicago Bears- Philadelphia Stars
Alexander still has managed to stick around in year four after three years with the Lions. The former Stars Wide Receiver followed offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to Chicago where he spent time on the practice squad, while appearing in one game. Alexander earned over 300k with Chicago, with more earnings coming from their playoff run. While Alexander’s future is unclear he should be able to compete in 2026 for a roster spot as well.
Career Earnings Since 2022: $1.3 Million
KaVontae Turpin Wide Receiver Dallas Cowboys- New Jersey Generals
Turpin has been the crown jewel of this class, signing an extension after two pro bowl seasons in Dallas. The former USFL MVP has eclipsed 5k all-purpose (career) in addition to surpassing 2k all-purpose yards for the 2025 NFL season. Turpin has two years left on his current contract that takes him to his age-31 season. While his market may decrease in 2027, Turpin should eclipse 10 years of NFL service time by the time he retires. In 2025 earned 5.5 Million.

Career Earnings Since 2022: $8.0 million
Four members remain in the 2022 USFL class, as they go into the 5th year of their careers. Led by KaVontae Turpin the class earned $8.5 Million which should be around the same amount the class makes in 2026. Increasing their earning from 2024, the remaining members of the 2022 USFL class have proven they are here to stay as proven NFL veterans.
