As the 2025 NFL season comes to an end the final members of the 2020 XFL class have completed their sixth season in the NFL continuing a legacy that is often regarded as one of the most electric five weeks of spring football since the 1980s. While it wasn’t perfect the reboot of the 2020 XFL brought so much joy and hope to fans across the United States until the COVID-19 pandemic cut the season short, and ultimately created a massive overhaul which led to the 2023 version of the XFL. The 2020 class saw 67 players earn contracts with 10 earning a paycheck during the 2025 NFL season.

Nick Moore Long Snapper Baltimore Ravens- Tampa Bay Vipers

Moore played minor league baseball for four years before walking on at the University of Georgia in 2015. After a failed stint with the New Orleans Saints in 2019, Moore joined the XFL’s Tampa Bay Vipers eventually leveraging his way to an opportunity with the Ravens. Moore spent the 2020 season on Baltimore’s practice squad, earning the full time job in 2021 where he has been the “the guy” since. Moore earned $1.1 million in 2025, and just signed a four-year extension keeping with the Ravens until his age-37 season (2029)

Christian Kuntz Long Snapper Pittsburgh Steelers- Dallas Renegades

After failing to make the Steelers out of training camp post his XFL stint Kuntz was a late practice squad addition in November of 2020. The former Linebacker turned snapper was able earn himself the starting job in 2021 where he has appeared in 84 straight games. Kuntz earned $1.1 million in 2025, and is signed for the 2026 season for a $1.2 million price tag.

Scott Daly Long Snapper Chicago Bears- New York Guardians

Daly, now in his second season with Chicago, spent three seasons with Detroit before his release in 2024. In 2025 Daly is now in his 5th NFL season earning $1.3 million on a one year deal. Daly at age 31 will most likely be regulated to year to year contracts for NFL teams, however he still manages to provide a consistent guiding force for 

Career Earnings Since 2020: $4.9 million

Storm Norton Offensive Lineman Atlanta Falcons- LA Wildcats

Outside of a 2021 season where he started 15 games, Norton has been a solid reserve lineman for the Chargers and Falcons since his XFL days. Norton has missed the 2025 season due to an ankle injury, but after signing a 2-year deal in the spring of 2025, he’ll have one more season to enhance his standing in the NFL. Norton earned $1.4 million in his 9th NFL season bringing his total earnings to just under $7 million.

Donald Parham Tight End Pittsburgh Steelers-Dallas Renegades

Parham’s 2025 ended before it started with a torn achilles during OTAs for Pittsburgh. After 4 seasons with the Chargers (20-23) Parham spent the 2024 season on the practice squad not appearing in any games. Parham earned $590k on injured reserve with the Steelers and face a long road to recovery to see if he will extend his NFL career.

Elijah Campbell Defensive Back Miami Dolphins-D.C. Defenders

Campbell has carved out a nice career in his six seasons in the NFL providing plenty of value as an elite special teams contributor. Campbell came to the XFL, after a stint in the AAF ultimately not earning a contract until the XFL ceased operations. Now on injured reserve Campbell appeared in 10 games earning $1.9 million in 2025 and is a free agent after the season.

Tyree Jackson Tight End Washington Commanders-D.C. Defenders

Jackson’s career may be coming to the end of the road as he is currently placed on injured reserve due to a training camp injury. Jackson, who converted to Tight End from Quarterback, has played five seasons in the NFL since signing with the Eagles in 2021. Jackson earned $575K on injured reserve this season which is the 3rd highest amount he’s made in his career.

Josh Johnson Quarterback Washington Commanders- LA Wildcats

Johnson has had increases in playing time in both 2021 and 2024 along with an infamous playoff cameo in 2022 due to a Brock Purdy injury. Johnson received two starts as QB1 for the Commanders this year and at 39 years old may be in the final era of his career. Johnson earned $1.4 million in 2025 the 3rd highest amount per year in his 18 year career.

Michael Dunn Offensive Line Free Agent- Seattle Dragons

Dunn might be at the end of his career as for the first time in five seasons failed to finish the year with an NFL team. Dunn spent 2025 training camp with the San Francisco 49ers and then managed to spend a week with the LA Chargers on their practice earning $17,500 for a weeks worth of work. Dunn had a great run with the Cleveland Browns from 2020 to 2024, however it appears that 2026 might be his make or break for his career. 

Career Earnings since 2020: $4.3 million

Bonus: Taylor Heinicke earned $2 million dollars despite being released at the conclusion of training camp with the LA Chargers bringing his earnings to $17.6 million since 2020.

The 2020 XFL class may see a major dropoff in their footprint with the possibility of Johnson, Parham, Jackson, Heinicke, and Dunn all being candidates for retirement or injuries beginning to compound. The class earned $11.7 million this season which is about the same value from 2024 as well. Between the trifecta of long snappers the XFL 2020 footprint looks to be going strong for the foreseeable future especially with Nick Moore earning a 4-year contract extension till 2029.
